As the founder of Utile, I was driven by a simple insight: the spaces we live and work in deserve more than surface-level care, they deserve transformation. I saw how fragmented and inconsistent service quality was across floor polishing, bathroom deep cleaning, kitchen hygiene, and pest control. 

So I built Utile to raise the standard. Our mission is to deliver precision, professionalism, and peace of mind, whether we’re restoring the shine to marble floors, degreasing a kitchen, sanitizing bathrooms, or eliminating pests with eco-safe solutions. I have always been drawn to design, structure, and impact, and I saw a clear gap in how service brands treated everyday spaces. Floors left dull, kitchens and bathrooms handled as afterthoughts, pest control delivered without care for safety or transparency, it all felt purely transactional. I wanted to change that.

I founded Utile to bring precision, creativity, and accountability into the heart of urban maintenance. Every polished floor, every sanitized kitchen, every pest-free home is a reflection of our values: excellence, consistency, and care. What drives me is seeing transformation – not just in spaces, but in how people feel about where they live and work.

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR SERVICES

Utile connects users with verified service professionals across cleaning, pest control, painting, and other home services. By booking a service, you agree to the following terms:

🛠️ Scope of Services

  • Utile acts as a platform to facilitate service delivery by independent professionals.
  • Services are intended for personal, residential, and commercial use unless otherwise approved.
  • Services are available only within India.

📅 Booking & Scheduling

  • Services must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Time slots are subject to availability and may be rescheduled due to operational delays or weather.
  • Free cancellation is allowed up to 12 hours before the scheduled time. Late cancellations may incur a ₹150 fee.

💳 Payment & Pricing

  • Payments can be made via UPI, card, net banking, or cash on completion.
  • Some services may require advance payment or booking deposit.
  • All prices are inclusive of GST. Digital invoices are issued post-service.

🧼 User Responsibilities

  • Ensure access to water, electricity, and the service area.
  • Remove personal items, valuables, and fragile objects before service begins.
  • Disclose material sensitivities, pre-existing damage, or special requirements in advance.

🔐 Safety & Conduct

  • All professionals follow Utile’s code of conduct. Any misbehaviour must be reported immediately.
  • Users are responsible for ensuring pets, children, and valuables are safe during service.
  • Damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.

⚖️ Platform Liability

  • Utile is not responsible for disputes, damages, or service failures arising directly between customers and vendors.
  • Any issues must be resolved between the parties involved, with Utile offering support where possible but without liability.

📞 Support & Feedback

  • Customer support is available via WhatsApp and phone from 9 AM to 9 PM.
  • Users may be contacted post-service for feedback or quality assurance.

📌 Additional Terms and Privacy Policy

  • Offers and discounts are non-transferable and time-bound.
  • Utile respects user privacy. Personal data is handled as per our Privacy Policy.
  • All disputes will be resolved under Indian jurisdiction.

🔐 VENDOR PRIVACY POLICY – CHECKLIST

This policy outlines how Utile collects, uses, stores, and protects personal and professional data of vendors operating on its platform.

 1. Data Collection

  • Full name, contact number, email ID
  • Government-issued ID (e.g., Aadhaar, PAN)
  • Bank account details for payouts
  • Service history and ratings
  • Location and availability
  • Emergency contact (optional)

  • Identity verification and background checks
  • Service assignment and scheduling
  • Payment processing and invoicing
  • Performance tracking and quality assurance
  • Legal compliance and audit trails
  • Internal training and support

🔄 3. Data Sharing

  • Shared with customers only when required for service delivery (e.g., name, phone number)
  • Shared with payment gateways for transaction processing
  • Shared with law enforcement or government agencies upon legal request
  • Never sold or rented to third parties for marketing

🛡️ 4. Data Security

  • Vendor data is stored on encrypted servers
  • Access is restricted to authorized personnel only
  • Regular audits and access logs maintained
  • Vendors are advised not to share login credentials or OTPs

  • Vendors consent to data use by signing onboarding forms or digital agreements
  • Vendors may request access, correction, or deletion of their data
  • Opt-out available for promotional messages (transactional messages remain mandatory)

📆 6. Data Retention

  • Vendor data is retained for the duration of active service plus 3 years for compliance
  • Inactive vendor data may be archived or anonymized
  • Financial records retained as per statutory requirements

⚖️ 7. Legal Compliance

  • Policy complies with Indian IT Act, 2000 and applicable data protection laws
  • Any breach or misuse will be investigated and may result in termination or legal action
  • Disputes will be resolved under Indian jurisdiction
